Durable use of resources

Water consumption

The DELTA PLUS GROUP’s water consumption consists of the consumption of the various sites (offices, warehouses and plants). Water is not used in our production subsidiaries for the manufacturing of products. On
all of our sites, water is used only by the employees in the various facilities made available to them (potable water, lavatories showers, dormitories, etc.). Most of the water consumption is on sites on which the Group’s principal plants are established, as a significant number of our employees work in those plants. None of the DELTA PLUS Group’s companies are located in a zone affected by water restrictions. All of them have access to potable water and provide their employees with continuous access thereto.

Consumption of raw materials

The consumption of raw materials in our various production subsidiaries is shown in the table below. This consumption is proportional to the plants’ production capacity. All of our plants minimize the waste of raw materials used in the manufacturing process by reusing as much of it as possible.
The principal raw material used in all the other subsidiaries that are not engaged in production is carton for logistics platforms and paper for distributionsubsidiaries.

Energy consumption and adaptation to climate change

The consumption of electricity by the DELTA PLUS Group’s various companies varies significantly depending on the type of business conduction by each company. The sites where the consumption is highest are the production plants in Asia and the DELTA PLUS GROUP’s head office where the IT activity (servers & maintenance) is carried out.
The total consumption of electricity by the DELTA PLUS Group’s companies3 is 7,7170,745 Kwh.

Various subsidiaries have installed systems that reduce their consumption of electricity, particularly electrical programming systems (heating, lighting, etc.), occupancy detectors, equipment with low energy consumption (computers, copiers, etc.), or thermostats.

3. The information contained in this paragraph does not take into account the electricity consumption of our subsidiaries in Russia and Ukraine, as these subsidiaries are not individually metered.
