As the designer of individual protective equipment, the DELTA PLUS GROUP is committed to protection of consumers’ health and safety.
During the preparation and manufacturing of each product, all of the manufacturing sites –whether plants within or outside of the DELTA PLUS GROUP– comply with “product specifications” that require or guarantee the absence of hazardous substances, in accordance with the European regulation called REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals).
Hence, prior to the manufacturing of its products, the DELTA PLUS GROUP ensures that they meet the requirements set by the REACH European regulation and comply therewith. Our products comply with directive 89/686/ EEC of the Council of 21 December 1989 regarding harmonization of the laws of the member States with respect to individual protective equipment.
The EU 2016/ 425 European regulation of 9 March 2016 will replace all of the provisions of directive 89/686/EEC. This European regulation has been in effect directly in all of the member States of the European Union since 21 April 2018. A transitional period, during which the two regulations will apply, will extend from 21 April 2018 to 21 April 2019. As of 21 April 2019, all individual protective equipment put on the market must comply with the EU 2016/425 European Regulation. The DELTA PLUS Group has prepared its adaptation to this new environmental regulation.
